Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I’ve really had enough of jokes about concussions etc, you sound like mancs. Probably best to just leave the lad be, he’s clearly not in a good place mentally.

That coupled with the fact its a preseason friendly. Whats the point in everyone piling in every time the lad makes a mistake.

It's like this place is full of kids.
              Are we winning?

This isn't true - we were 2-1 down at the time.

At the time I saw it I didn't actually think it was that bad of a mistake tbh. Pulisic hit it pretty hard and the defence didn't react to the ball breaking in the box afterwards. His mistake from the kick first half was worse.

The club are failing him now though - he needs to be taken out of the spotlight and left to remain confidence/composure etc. Playing him when his confidence is shot is more detrimental to him now and it will only get worse.

Him saying the below is making things even worse again:

Even Iker Casillas has come out and defended him:

The best thing for Karius & LFC is for him not to play and as I said above, the club (Klopp) are failing him now by making him play when he is clearly under huge pressure with the world waiting for another error.

The gleeful tweets from some supports are nearly out before the broadcasters have shown the replay FFS.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I dont think him saying this makes it worse. Yes he's suffering mainly from the comments of idiots and trolls over the whole of the internet, including in here. To try and play under such immense pressure knowing every mistake regardless of size is going to be ridiculed. Its ****ing shameful

Its good to see someone like Casillas backing him and giving him the support he needs. The idiots and the trolls should do the same, but they will not, as none of them have an IQ above pondlife

Which is why the club needs to take him out of the limelight. It is doing him harm. It's painful to watch the guy struggle.

Yep. If idiots are going to bombard him with abuse on his social media then he has every right to respond.

Worse may not have been the right word but the trolls are clearly getting to him and IMO a high profile professional footballer shouldn't be "answering" them via social media.

The most pertinent point though is that he is clearly not mentally right and every mistake makes things worse exponentially. My main point was that he needs time out from the team/spotlight for things to die down.

He can do what he wants, hes a human with feelings and emotions. Not a robot.

I think at this point he should be able to give it back.

I think it is good that he is getting these games. It’s only pre season, better he has these issues and makes the errors when the spotlight isn’t quite so intense. He is getting time out from the first team soon enough.
