Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
The good thing about the whole sorry episode is that it showed that Klopp will give someone a chance but when the moment comes he acts decisively. He saw that Karius couldn't hack it and binned him straight off without further ado, just as he did with Sakho after he pulled Klopp's Ron Hills down in front of everyone at the training ground.
He was good in Germany and the season before we got him he was voted second best senior keeper in the Bundesliga after Neuer.
He is not a bad keeper, certainly not muck like Pickford for example, he just did not push on from the promise he showed. Before the nightmare against Real he was actually on a decent run for of form for us, not top class form or anything like that but solid.
Problem for him now is that at 25 his level has turned out to be that of an average EPL keeper and we now have a world class keeper between the sticks.
Do think he could rebuild his name back in Germany and have a good if unspectacular career.
Somewhere like a newly promoted Bundesliga side would be a good place for him to rebuild, if he can find one that will have him. He'll never be able to recover from that Champions League final back in England though.

To be honest, the best thing he could do is quit football for a year and do something worthwhile for a year. He needs to get comfortable with himself again.
