Yes we are not firing at the moment, but I dont think our side is as Bad as you seem to think. The fact that we can do well in Europe and Cups, but not in EPL, suggests more of a mindset problem than a real Poor Squad.

Doing Well in Europe = More Money and thus Better players for future. It doesnt patch over the cracks as you suggest

Ultimately any team with aspirations of winning the CL has to play the best and biggest teams sooner or later. I don't care who we draw once it gets to the knockout stages, I just want us to win every game we play.... so I'd like to see us top our group with 16 points and send out a message that in Europe at least, we are contenders

I'd actually hope fans of other clubs, if they were genuine and not being WUM's, would be tolerated here. I've seen several non LFC fans who make good contributions on other LFC sites.

I wouldnt mind playing Barca or Madrid right now. They are both playing badly, but I suspect they will be different teams in February. Especially since they would have had a break over christmas and we would have had double time. Mind you Barca have to fly to Japan soon for World Club Cup

Bring them on I say, sod the league, that's ****ed anyway, Everton can finish 4th, infact I hope they do.... so we get to see the looks on their faces when we bring home no. 6 and dump them out as should have happened in '05
