Why did you find it weird?

When we signed Mane it was stated that Klopp's vision was him to play on the flank and historically, Klopp has set up with two wide men. Much of last season was Klopp utilising a system that suited the players he had at his disposal; this season I think we will see Klopp implement his own system, buying players that suit the system and train the players accordingly.

Thought Wisdom played quite well the other night. Don't know if it's because the new shaved look made his head look massive and he stood out and obviously it's hard to tell against such poor opposition, but if he was a new signing playing rather than one on the way out, I think we would have been very happy with what we seen.

Hopefully he gets a chance at CB wherever he plays next season, so we can see if he is good enough or not.

I think I've only ever seem him play at RB for us where he looked ropey at best. Has he been playing as a CB out on loan? He did look OK the other night & worth another chance to see if he can cut the mustard when the opposition improves.

His first few games for us at RB he was very impressive (scored on his debut too IIRC), but his end product let him down in the end.

Has only played RB in his two loan spells, but failed to nail down a regular spot for either side. Norwich had a spell were they did quite well when he played and he did get a decent run of games at one stage before getting injured again.

Think his time here us up unfortunately. When we played 3 at the back under Rodgers, I made a case for him, but at 23 now, I can't see him forcing his way into Klopp's plans.

He doesn't look mobile enough to play as a FB to me. We need to promote either he or Illori or buy to replace Kolo. Matip will replace SKRTEL so we need one more I suspect.

I don't see Ilori having a future here, Klopp has had him back at the club for 6 months and he barely got a look in, probably more chance of Wisdom staying of the two of them IMO, but I suspect that if bids come in for both they will both be off.

I wonder if Klopp sees Lucas as the 'replacement' for Toure as he was playing him there a fair bit towards the end of the season. He doesn't look like a Klopp-style midfielder so if Lucas stays I think that might be his role.
