Not that surprising, Jurgie bear seems to be huge on players completing regular training sessions during the week if they wanna play on the weekend.

'Daniel had a clearing session,' said Klopp. 'He'll be involved today [Friday] in team training but he missed a lot of sessions in team training. He started pre-season later and missed some sessions there too. We have to make a decision what we do with him. Whether we use the next three, four, five days and make the pre-season longer than the first Premier League game.

'Some players have not had enough time and if you don’t have enough time and you have missed a few sessions it makes sense that you extend the pre season.

No big deal, Klopp has handled him brilliantly, though it'll be probably made in to one.

I can't see a world where Matip doesn't start. Klopp admired him for years and now finally has him, he's going to play unless he's not fit.

As for Studge, he says he's fit, Klopp won't pick players that have missed training. Entirely sensible in his case.
