What a game. Ordinary 1st half but whatever Klopp said at half time worked a treat. They got lucky with the deflected 2nd goal & a wicked free kick nicked on for the 3rd but we stood strong & got the result.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'm still buzzing after that win. Absolutely superb and we smashed them in their own back yard. Our defense will get better with Sakho, Matip, Milner and Karius to come back in. I think we're going to challenge this year with no European football to distract us.

Let's get a new LB and another midfielder in and we'll be sorted.

Looking at 4-4-2 stats zone is interesting Henderson and Wijnaldums average position in a near total overlap with Firmino and Lallana similarly tight and both sets of players almost line astern

                It's an outstanding result.

They are the team who finished second in the league last year, we've just played them away, a fixture we always struggle in and taken all three points.

We aren't going to win every game 4-0, and I am sure Klopp is more than aware of the areas where we are short.

                I'm hugely encouraged.
                Modifying post.

5 - Liverpool have scored 4+ goals in a @premierleague game on five occasions in 2016; the most of any team in the competition. Blitz.

5 - Simon Mignolet has saved five of the 11 penalties he's faced in the Premier League at Liverpool. Stopper.

no team has covered as much distance as Liverpool today (117.6km) since tracking was introduced to the PL, impressive

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The last one is wrong. It's the highest distance we've ever covered but not the highest in total.

Great for Mig on penalties but how many goal costing mistakes has he made in the same period!

Mig is as at least as big an issue if not more so than Moreno.

All in all though a great result, not perfect by any stretch but a big away game out of the way with 3 points in the bank.

Lots to be encouraged about and I think we'll see us get better and better as the team gels

In the first game, what a way to start the season, after going down and conceding a penalty Buzzing

Klopp's #LFC covered 117.6km today, the most distance of any EPL team since camera tracking was introduced

                                That's quite something
