What that shows to me is our fullbacks seem essential to our width. So maybe we're a tad harsh on Moreno if he's following instruction to bomb on.

I know Carragher went on about how narrow out front three were/are but I didn't think it was that pronounced.

Interesting stat from that Arsenal v Liverpool game.

Granit Xhaka was only on for 24 minutes but still managed to make the joint highest number of fouls over the whole of the Premier League weekend (so far).

His partner in crime? Team-mate Francis Coquelin also committed four fouls as the Gunners lost 4-3.

And he's got history - Xhaka was sent off three times for Borussia Monchengladbach last season.

Mig is as at least as big an issue if not more so than Moreno.

All in all though a great result, not perfect by any stretch but a big away game out of the way with 3 points in the bank.

I tend to agree. I still think the main issue is a collective one, of organisation and communication. I think there are signs that Mignolet is improving in some areas but not in those. Hopefully one of Klavan or Lovren steps up. I guess given that Moreno plays left back the CB that side has more to do.

That's fair enough, but why do you think you know enough about goalkeeping to be able to accurately predict whem a keeper will leave his line or stay on it? For any keeper? Do PL strikers know whether a keeper is going to come out and challenge or leave it to the centre back when a cross is hit? The criticism that he doesn't do what you expect he should is a valid criticism of sorts, but it is not necessarily the 'worst crime' .
