There's nothing wrong with our build up play, it was always going to be tight, but the fact that we can't defend is frustrating. 5 goals conceded already in 1 game and a half. FFs.

Barca and Arsenal games were clear evidence we are capable of scoring four goals when we're on the counter against top teams. When it's the other way around, we're more likely to concede four against total ****e, it's been like that for ages, no idea why everyone's acting so surprised.

Second half needs to be different, same goes for the rest of the games this season, because we'll end up 7th again if this goes on.

We score against teams who try to score and we struggle against teams that don't. Been for same for about 5 years now. We can't break anyone down, only punish teams that come at us.

HT 2-0 Burnley, missed most of the first half but it's looking terrible.

we need to change things up. wijnaldum and lallana are too similar and we need one of them to come off for emre. Sturridge keeps dropping too deep and we're left with no goal threat in the box and i hope kloppo sees this and thinks that using james milner at left back is a really bad idea because a fullback who comes inside ever time defeats the object of a fullback in klopp's system. Milner isnt providing any width at all.

Absolutely hideous performance so far. Hendo and Wijnaldum does not work! Milner at LB ffs. Just buy another LB if you have zero faith in Moreno.

You know Milner hasn't been that bad but he cuts back onto his right foot which slows down all out attacks. Surely we can buy a left footed left back, I can't get my head around it.

Our midfield is piss poor - so slooooooow and Hendo looks ****. Him and GW looks doomed. We so badly need a top CM.

Our defence has no nasty edge to it and has an insane knack of putting themselves under pressure.

This is so much like the horror shows of last year - I had hoped that was behind us.

Dreadful, no pace on the left at all, Milner constantly turning back to cross with his right means every Burnley defender (all 8 of them) has their body shaped to whack the ball away.

I've already got a bad feeling about the season after just one game. We're too slack, no focus, arrogant and deluded as a club and a set of fans. We're simply not good enough, we need an injection of funds to bring in top top talent and the problem is it just isn't going to happen. Can't see us getting back in this, I know we're capable as we've done it in the past but over the course of a footballing year we don't have the mentality, the strength to get through games especially when the going is tough. The players either get down or can't focus any positivity or teamwork into their play, it's a major underlying problem with this football club and it's not going to go away anytime soon sadly.

I actually don't think we played that badly. We gave up two sloppy goals. We definitely need a left back and defensive leader in there though. They are allowing Milner to get the ball in space and daring him to go left.

Coutinho and Firmino are either amazing or dreadful, usual inconsistency. Sturridge looks way off. Problem is the midfield pairing, zero protection for back line. Hendo and Wijnaldum in that deep position doesn't work. Defence been ****e in general too, even Clyne. Typical Liverpool really. Klopp doesn't trust Moreno so our only option is to play an attacking midfielder there instead. Play Moreno there or buy an actual LB!
