I actually don't think we played that badly. We gave up two sloppy goals. We definitely need a left back and defensive leader in there though. They are allowing Milner to get the ball in space and daring him to go left

Starting to wonder. We have one of these amazing games where we run more than any other team in the PL that weekend. Then we have a disjointed downer like this.

Bingo, that's the right feeling. Its been like this many times last season. I expect us fans to be blind to the obvious, as we support the club, but Klopp? What's he been watching for nearly 12 months?

If this defeat (Origi might save us yet) is a learning process and Klopp finally (****ING FINALLY) sees this then we have some hope of top four. Otherwise, we have another flop on our hands for 6 more years.

I've already got a bad feeling about the season after just one game. We're too slack, no focus, arrogant and deluded as a club and a set of fans. We're simply not good enough, we need an injection of funds to bring in top top talent and the problem is it just isn't going to happen. Can't see us getting back in this, I know we're capable as we've done it in the past but over the course of a footballing year we don't have the mentality, the strength to get through games especially when the going is tough. The players either get down or can't focus any positivity or teamwork into their play, it's a major underlying problem with this football club and it's not going to go away anytime soon sadly.

We as fans are so sensationalist but the mad thing is right now I agree with you.

Neither are suitable options. We need two new left backs.

You know Milner hasn't been that bad but he cuts back onto his right foot which slows down all out attacks. Surely we can buy a left footed left back, I can't get my head around it.

Our midfield is piss poor - so slooooooow and Hendo looks ****. Him and GW looks doomed. We so badly need a top CM.

Our defence has no nasty edge to it and has an insane knack of putting themselves under pressure.

This is so much like the horror shows of last year - I had hoped that was behind us.

a decent lb and cm is so blatant. We have nobody in midfield to dictate the play vs teams that sit deep and nobody to win ball back vs teams that keep possession. Been like this for ****ing years.

Think our build play is ok and moved side to side then out wide as they are camped back but just breaks down from there. Everyone laying off for each other...someone just hit it! We do struggle to break down teams who sit & defend.

Klopp doesn't trust Moreno so our only option is to play an attacking midfielder there instead. Play Moreno there or buy an actual LB!

It's unfathomably poor that a side like Liverpool should be resorting to playing the likes of Milner in that position. It's ridiculous. Surely there's something in the pipeline before the end of the window.

We are a talented team, but bring all of that together seems to be an ongoing issue, no matter who is in charge.

It's gonna take a few years for Klopp to get a challenging team. We are far too inconsistent and make too many mistakes during a game.
