Still we are in profit for the summer so every cloud and that.

It looks like nothing has been done over the summer at all. All the same problems exist and we look short on ideas when up against a packed defence. Coutinho was the same again, cut inside, sky a shot over the bar.

Thought Klavan looked every inch a budget centre half today - sure he's not going to be in the side for long, but you get what you pay for by the looks of it.

Jury still well and truly out for me. I'm still disappointed not to be on this mad Klopp party bus everyopne else seems to be on.

Same old ****, nothing has changed. No leaders, powder puff midfield, easy to play against & players playing in positions they can not play. A DM & a LB are a ****ing no brainer, get them in an stop ****ing around. The fact we haven't sorted this out by now is embarrassing & leads to me question what exactly Klopp has been looking at the last year.

Tactically outfoxed by Sean Dyche & still playing players in positions that they cannot play. At least our net spend is awesome. Here we go again.

We shipped 3 against an average Arsenal side, that was alarm bells and we've gone into this one as if it was completely fine. The midfield isn't going to work like this, its completely unbalanced.. I wonder what is up with Can? We could do with another Mane type because with him out we look so slow its untrue.

We still will, when we start banging them in. It'll be a 13-14 effort rather than a bore them to death with 1 nils like Arsenal of the early 90's effort.

I wasn't really optimistic, even after last week.

We are too inconsistent and make too many mistakes for me to be comfortable at this stage. The way we play and set up means that time and again we're going to score a lot and rip a few teams apart, but in this league you're going to come unstuck if you don't carry a bit of pragmatism with you.

                  1. Sturridge out wide is a big big mistake.

                  2. After watching what happened at Arsenal, why on earth would you start with that same 3 man midfield again?!

                  3. Klopp needs to sort this **** out asap or our chances at a top 4 spot will be gone before we even play 10 games.

We won't though, I'd rather take a **** boring 1 nil win than concede two every game and end up with heart problems. We're scary to watch and we're going to struggle to break down teams like this on a weekly basis. I know it's only the second game of the season but that today was really worrying to watch.

Usual ****, can we not have one summer transfer window where we can sort out **** out, ****ing no excuses for that.

That was thoroughly awful. I think we'll need more than a week to sort that mess out.

We should have started with Origi up front and Can in midfield.

The midfield doesn't work, the defence doesn't work and if the midfield doesn't work, the defence and attack don't work. Rodgers would have been murdered for that today - 1 year on and it still seems pretty much the same old ****.

Anyone has a feeling this team's set up is reminiscent of the Roy Evan's era teams? Great going forward, but tactically limited and defensively frail.

Not even great going forward today though - poor finishing and wasteful. More like a Rodgers 'great character and possession' line today...
