Good **** from everyone involved. Could have been a cricket score had we put all our chances away.
I bust Hendo and Studge's chops, but they were both really good last night. More of that please lads. Pity their finishing let them down, as they deserved a goal each.
Firmy and Mane are unstoppable when they're like that. Too much craft, guile and hustle.
Ming put himself about too, which was good to see.
Wijnaldum was really good too. Quick passes, and always gets into a good position for the pass. He'll score a few goals this season for sure."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Not sure if you are referring to another chance but the way I remember it was Gini was almost through but schmeichel just got his toe to it. It didn't matter in the end as sturridge made a run and it was offside.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I thought we were brilliant yesterday. The pace, movement and creativity was amazing.
The Burnley game apart, we have been the best team in the games v arsenal, spurs and now Leicester.
There's a lot to be pleased about.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

Anybody else think we'll be unbeaten every game Mane plays for us?
Chelsea game going to be very, very interesting. They were quite comfortable against us in pre-season, happy to sit back like Burnley, but surely they won't get away with that at home. Shame it wasn't at home, Friday night at Anfield would be rocking. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Well just about recovered...long day yesterday
not read anyone else's posts yet so not sure what other views where but here's my experience
Maybe it was because it feels so long since we played at home, added with the excitement of the new stand, a late kick off, good weather and all my mates out on the ale but the buzz yesterday felt like I was going to a cup final.
First thing I noted was how much busier and buzzing around anfield seemed, obvs there is 10k extra fans but it just felt rammed everywhere.
Second the stand....wow! Just wow, I was so impressed, because the pubs were rammed me and my mate decided we'd go in early which is something I've never done....the atmosphere and set up in the top tier concourse was amazing, plenty of bars, space, live music, good food outlets, great views over the city, just brilliant.
Next walking to my new seat for the first time and it's crazy, I felt a bit emotional to be there...the rest of the ground looks so small and the pitch isn't as far away as I feared. I'm two rows up on the third tier, right behind the media guys which is good cause I can see their tv monitors for replays.....I looked back behind me and it was mind blowing....some great views also including the two cathedrals visible above the kop.
Then the atmosphere....whether it was just because it's the first time adding to it and I don't know how it came across on tv or to the rest of the ground but it was bouncing all game where I was. It was electric
And then the performance....thought we were brilliant....especially for me lallana, firminho and Matip....also thought mane and Sturridge where a constant threat...it was a great performance which just rounded off a brilliant day!
Can't wait for the next gamei own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Hammered them, and i was completely expecting it (whereas I wasn't confident for the Burnley game..)
They were fantastic yesterday, and it could have been even more emphatic. The Reds are a rollercoaster ride, even during a game - we were struggling just before the break after the Lucas **** up, and this makes watching us all the more tortuous. I worry we're not professional enough yet, that we haven't recruited adequately in some crucial areas and that we aren't clinical enough.
4-1 though.
