Noticed this on the beeb site:

Liverpool have won more games against reigning Premier League champions than any other side.

Hugely helped by the fact we've never won the thing, so we've had more goes than any comparable club.
      Oh I don't know.

It doesn't surprise me that much to be honest. We are one of the better teams in the league, we have been ever present in Premier League era, and having never won the league we will have had more games against defending champions that the likes of Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea.

If we can win or draw it'll be a great start with the fixtures we've had and only 1 at home out of 5.

The Burnley game is one we could end up looking back on at the end of the season if we just fall short of our targets, it really is one we should have won. 3 points from that and it would have been an amazing start to the season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Burnley was a bad one , but didnt we go with no striker again though ,

keep banging the same drum but when we play with a proper striker we just look so much more dangerous to me.

We gave a sloppy goal away early doors from messing about at the back and never really got into the game at all. Hopefully we'll not see games like that too often this season

I thought that too but the commentators / pundits said how good it was several times

Yeah but they were actually there like ptp. So it must be down to the microphone positioning. Or ptp and macca are lying *******s.

Cant wait for the chelsea game now.

Friday night football is a ballache for the away fans (unless they live in London in this case) and just another example of the fans being taken for granted by greedy Sky, greedy Premier League etc......

But it's great for going out for a few scoops after work and hopefully sets up the weekend to be a good one!!!

Friday night football is a **** idea full stop.

I don't want to spend Friday night watching football.
                        Oh I don't know.

                          I don't think it's mandatory.

It isn't, but I'd quite like to watch this game.

                            It's ****ing inconvenient.

Friday night, the last night of the week not at the mercy of the football timetable is now also a lost cause.

                            It's ****.

Friday night games have been the norm for about 10 years in every league below the Prem. They always usually have 10-15 a season.

Only 10 in the Premier League this year too.

                                I agree actually.

In an ideal world I'd be in the pub or at home with a few beers watching it. In reality Friday nights are the one night where me and my t'other half sit down watch a film or show over a few glasses of vino.

Not sure she will have too much interest in the Footy.
