Must admit I was screaming at Jurgen to make a sub before we scored our second, really thought the game needed one.

Good to us see us win a scrappy game when we aren't playing too well though, it's a talent well worth having.

Karius reminds me of first season De Gea at the minute, he's expecting loads of time and protection and he's flapping at the ball when he panics.
The times they are a changin'.

Yeah. Winning ugly is a trait of successful teams and not something we've been great at.

Got to train Karius on high balls for a fortnight but I suspect he may be taken out of the team for a bit.

We would have lost or drawn that game in previous seasons, so it's at least two points gained. Showed some resolve to get back into it. Ice Cold Milner!

Thought it was strange they took Routledge off, seemed to be their best player and most creative outlet while he was on.

Karius had a poor game but he'll get better. He needs time and he should get it.

2nd half we connected with more passes and they tired.

We should have put them to be in all honesty, we got into the box a few times and either picked terrible passes or got unlucky (Cork sliding in)

Karius was a worry though, to be honest I be tempted to stick Mignolet back in against United because they've been strong from corners and have a few big units.

Up to 2nd in the league, given the start we've had its about as good as it gets.

Don't think I would put Mig in tbh. In Matip we have a guy who is good against big strong units and Lovern is strong in the air.

If high balls get past our best in the air guys then I don't think Mignolet offers anything better against crosses/high balls than what Karius does. Both are just as capable of a right old flap, but I think Karius would offer more in terms of being able to come out quick to sweep up long balls designed to spring counter attacks and is usually a tad more confident when the ball is played to feet.

It's a home game against that lot and Karius is not exactly a stranger to playing against big name teams. Being at home and with an up for it crowd behind us will hopefully see us being the team doing most of the pressing and this Man U team look very vulnerable to the sort of pressing we are capable of in the middle and final third.

I don't fear them, and think that we will be much more comfortable and assured against them than we were against Swansea today.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

            Cracking match that!

Swansea were brilliant first half - they just ran out of steam and after we equalized it was a question of when rather than if we were going to get the winner.

Hopefully a really good marker for the rest of the season where we can still get a positive result even after starting really sluggishly. Thought we were great second half without really carving them apart like we've done with other teams.

Took me a long time to warm to Firmino but he looks like he's going to score and create every game, not many players like that in the league.

Missed this, was in bed asleep. Poor effort from me, although sounds like I didn't miss a classic.
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

United is the perfect game for after a international break. We are always sluggish first game back but there's no way the players will allow that against those cunts.

Lovren and Lallana both injured their groins, will be out for internationals but Klopp hopes they'll be back for United.

Missed the game due to computer trouble so listened which isn't nearly as good (they spend so much times not actually commentating) but the result is all that matters away to Swansea who are better than their position I think.

Plus ther international break might actually have arrived just in the nick of time with the knocks and Klopp can do extra sessions with some of the squad

It's about time that teams started missing chances against us. Almost every shot against has gone in this season before today. That miss was earned.
Had enough of stats that read 1 corner, 1 shot, 1 shot on target, 1 goal scored, against us. Annoying as feck. We've earned a lot more misses than just De Hoorn's.

Swansea are far better than their results suggest. They will take points off fellow top 4 battlers, whomever the manager is. Luckily it wasn't us.

Great second half and just proves that this team can respond to being behind and we can go to the lesser teams and win. I'm sure like me everyone else was thinking "here we go again" after they took the lead and we were so sluggish in the first half.

Massive 3 points and Massive performance to turn around that game. For 50 minutes we were 2nd best, these were the games which we would throw away ala Burnley for a very long time. But we dug in, Klopp made tactical changes and we started to squeeze the life out of them, flowing attacks, high press, bravery on the ball in tight spaces ... Brilliant pure class. Honestly I have the feeling again, when Rafa was at his best, you know Klopp can out think his opposite number

Brilliant win, up to 2nd ... YNWA
