We were really poor first half, much better second half, fair play to Swansea their tactic worked well against us first half but as the game went on they tired and we came through, they still created chances which is cause for concern, Karius had some dodgy moments - not looking at all confident with balls crossed into the box.

But it was good to turn around the game and get an important 3 point, which will take us into the international break in a strong position.

Saw a deer get hit by a tour bus once. Did not end well for all parties.

It was brilliant. We were terrible first half and to see us turn it around so forcefully 2nd half was thrilling. I was going nuts

These are the games where titles are won and lost. Massive result, massive performance. We seem to be finally having that right winners mentality....I really think we could pull this off this year....

                        Swansea post match thread.

Missed the game this afternoon but just watched the recording. They had the more dangerous chances for the first 50 minutes. We only showed our quality going forwards after we got our first goal. Much better from then, however we were lucky not to concede again in the 93rd minute! Great comeback and another massive 3 points!

I wasn't really arsed about the performance. It was great to see us turn it around. I thought it was vital just to get the win, regardless of how we do it, as a ****ty 12:30pm kickoff away is always bound to be difficult.

Klopp really makes the game look easy at times. Better movement, pressing, and tempo in our play during the second half, and boom!

matip was struggling as he was closed down and lost the ball at one point, he turns around and starts waving his arms and shouting.
we he screaming at lack of support from others or not getting a 'man on' shout.
obviously a lack of cohesion with different people coming in and out the team but it needs work so we are more of a unit and lads know their team mates have their back.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Only able to dip in and out but from what I saw, the full backs looked like they were a bit further forward in the second half which seemed to make a difference.

He has a few of the same weaknesses that Mignolet has, namely can be dodgy on crosses, and is not the most physically dominant of keepers, but when on form I reckon his strengths far outstrip Mignolet in the same departments.

I think he is more agile than Mignolet, much quicker in terms of pace and acceleration (and far more willing to use that pace to come out and sweep), and much less likely than Mignolet to go into his shell after a clanger or two.

He is not the type of keeper that is going to lead at the back, well not yet anyway, and will have to work hard lessening the weaknesses he shares with Mignolet but the guy is already probably a better keeper than Mignolet and has loads of time to improve further.

As I said in one of the transfer window thread both before and after we got him, he is not the young German keeper I would have gone for, but he is an upgrade in my eyes and he does look to have a hell of a lot of potential.

Do think that if he reaches his potential that his style of play will resemble that of some of the recent top Spanish keepers (Casillas and De Gea ) and that of the tier below Spanish keepers like Rico and Asenjo rather than resembling the more physically and mentally dominant style of some of the more high profile German keepers of recent years and of years gone by.
