Possibly, but you need to look at more than these numbers to make that assessment. Not all chances are equal, and not all players/teams are equal in their probability of converting/averting them.

MOTD took the time to highlight a similar situation not being offside in the WHU v Sunderland game but completely ignored the possibility of offside for the WBA goal.

Great result tbf, superb goals, especially the 1st, what a sublime move.

Added to our win, is the other results of the day, with Arse and Spuds dropping 2 big points, in games not unlike our own where opposition is concerned.

UTD v Chavs is also a plus, one or both of them must drop points.

            So a good good day.

Don't remember him saying anything about worry tbf.

He just asked the question as to whether we can play that way against the big clubs.

Which is a bit of a daft statement considering we've beaten Chelsea and arsenal. But 'I worry about Liverpool' is far more dramatic; and I don't think he actually said that.

I thought he said good things about us all through the game.Got the impressions he loved watching us.

Great display from us. I still worry that it took a 'perfect' goal to open them up though. They don't come off that often.

Really should have given them a spanking. How we didn't get 4 or 5 there i'll never know.

One of these days we're going to absolutely destroy someone by 7 or 8 goals.

I detest Olsson, he's the ****ing dirtiest CB going around.

                Their goal was offside clearly.

Some of our play was absolutely stunning. I've seen us totally dominate teams over the years only to come away with a point so it was good to see us get 3 points even though the 2-1 scoreline flattered West Brom.

As for Karius, it's early days but I have the David James feeling again whenever the opposition have a corner or free kick close to our goal!! Seems a bit flat footed at times and it's clear he is unsure whether to come for the ball or stay on his line. Teams have noticed this and are starting to target him. He should stay in goal though but I do see a monumental error coming up and I just hope it doesn't cost us because I don't see us scoring 2 goals minimum every game.

Yeah that was odd I thought that having a GK as a pundit he might have noticed it. There can be no question that the guy is a position which affects the GK as Karius hits him as he comes out towards the shot. I don't know if I'm missing something or they have just overlooked it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Karius looks really hopeless on crosses, he seems to have no idea whether he can get to a cross or not, he will come for things and get absolutely nowhere near them or he will start to come and change his mind, neither of which are good qualities. Was he like this before he signed for us? because to me (who hadn't paid that much attention to him before he signed) it looks like he doesn't want to come for crosses but since he got here someone has told him that he needs to.

I didn't see much of him at Mainz but after he signed I read a bit. He was supposidly a keeper who didn't come for many crosses and for those he did come for he was very hit and miss! His strengths are his shot stopping and build up play (feet and throwing) from the back.

They must have been aware of all of this when signing him so they thought they could work on the crossing element? Oh for a young Pep Reina!

Great performance and the silver lining to their goal is that united are the only team who couldn't score against us.
I really don't think it is going to be long until we hit another team for 6 or 7 goals, even more.
We are a joy to watch at time, and some day soon, we'll score from most of the chances we create.
