Wow that is a long time!

The area directly surrounding Anfield has changed a lot since then, well to me it has whenever I go there.

      Enjoy the game mate!
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Cheers all. I'm sure I will but as Bob says I hope the run continues and I haven't jinxed it!

It's the first time back in Liverpool since then as well, I'm going to not recognise anywhere!

Liverpool the city has changed to a huge degree since he was last there let alone just around Anfield.

Things like Liverpool One etc will all be brand new to him when he gets there. Even the airport has changed name since he was last there.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

            Liverpool’s attack
Below is a list of the most shots on target by Premier League clubs this season:

            Liverpool – 69
            Manchester City – 61
            Chelsea – 61
            Manchester United – 59
            Tottenham – 59
            Everton – 58
            Southampton – 56
            Arsenal – 54
The gap between Liverpool and Manchester City in second is bigger than between City and Arsenal in eighth.
Below is a list of the most shots off target by Premier League clubs this season:

            Liverpool – 148
            Tottenham – 136
            Manchester United – 133
            Manchester City – 132
            Chelsea – 129
            Southampton – 121
            Everton – 119
            West Ham – 117
The gap between Liverpool and Tottenham in second is bigger than between Tottenham and Chelsea in fifth.

Keep those levels up, and it might not matter how Liverpool defend. They comfortably top both of these lists despite playing 60% of their games away from home and having faced four of last season’s top five. It’s on.

            Liverpool’s defence
More errors leading to goals than any other Premier League club, but the biggest concern for Jurgen Klopp is that their poor defensive record could still get worse. Only Tottenham, Chelsea, Everton and Southampton have allowed fewer shots on target than Liverpool this season, yet Klopp’s side have conceded at least three more goals than each of those clubs.

Liverpool’s 13 goals conceded have come from just 30 shots on target faced. That’s indicative of chances being afforded in extremely presentable situations through individual error (the first goal against Crystal Palace), poor marking (the second goal) and a goalkeeping situation in which neither Simon Mignolet nor Loris Karius has truly impressed. Karius screaming out of his goal and actually making himself smaller rather than bigger for the first goal will not have impressed his manager

Posted an article a few weeks ago that showed the correlation between shots on/off target ratio and league position and it basically agreed that we will be champions.

Just realised there's yet another break after this game.

It's ridiculous how many months in the 1st half of the season can have as little as 3 games. Then have 6 in December and in April they have to juggle at least 6 plus potentially 3 or 4 more depending on progress in the cups.

The Premier League should carry on regardless of Internationals like in Rugby. Test the depth of squad/kids out.

It would be even nicer to have an eleven match unbeaten run AFTER we get to City.

Premier League predictions: Which team will win the title on goal difference?

It will perhaps come as no surprise to learn that Leicester City's hopes of retaining their crown are already over.

According to Gracenote, the Foxes have a 0.1% chance of emulating their success of last season. Currently 11th, they are predicted to finish eighth.

It is looking bleak, too, for Manchester United.

Their title chances are rated at just 1.3% by Gracenote, who think Jose Mourinho's side will finish in sixth on 64 points, well adrift of the top four.

That is one place lower and two points fewer than last season, which ended with an FA Cup victory but with manager Louis van Gaal losing his job.

Worse news for United fans is that neighbours Manchester City will finish top, pipping Arsenal on goal difference.

Gracenote predicted City and the Gunners would battle it out for the title before the season started and the duo are currently locked on 23 points at the top.

Liverpool have also collected 23 points thanks to seven wins and two draws from their opening 10 games, but Gracenote predicts Jurgen Klopp's side will ultimately finish three points back in third.

"Liverpool are still improving and we may be underestimating them still," says Simon Gleave, Gracenote's head of data.

The fourth and final Champions League spot will go to Chelsea in Antonio Conte's first season in charge, with Tottenham four points back in fifth.

So how will the final table look?

Look away if you are a fan of Sunderland, Hull City or Swansea. Manchester City supporters may want to post it all over social media.

                          Southampton – 56
                          Arsenal – 54
Liverpool 24 goals, Mna Utd 13 goals scored. Liverpool's conversion rate of all shots is 13.19 and Mna Utd's 7.14. Though if measured by actual shots on goal it's 20.0 and 37.5m per goal for Utd it's 10.2% and 69 mins per goal

Oh yes Milner will be back for this game (as you'd expect), wonder if Gini Wiji will take his place back or if Can will continue, it might be wise to leave things as they are as Emre is a bit like a train, taking his time to build up steam.
