    [PL] Southampton Bulid up (A)

So many of our players away on Int duty & not many of theirs I'd imagine is not the best preparation for this. But in saying that we really are flying & everyone seems to be on the same wavelength don't they.

Hopefully we hire a plane like last time to get the 2 Brazilian maestros back ASAP. Cout played 85 mins & Bobby only about 10 min yesterday so it would be good if Cout got a rest for their 2nd match but I doubt it.

Sturridge & Lallana scored for Eng & Clyne an unused sub.

Who else is away on Int duty?

    Edit
Sturridge, Henderson and Lallana all start for England v Scotland. Clyne on the bench

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'm hoping that Southgate doesn't use any of our players against Spain - it's an opportunity for him to assess fringe players in a meaningless friendly.

Fringe players could mean Clyne as he's been overlooked recently.

Clyne isn't a fringe player, he's a regular for his club. Sturridge deserved his place tonight and I hope he's sold to a decent club in January, he doesn't deserve to spend so much time on the bench. There's no need for England to play any of our players in the meaningless friendly this week.

Possibly, I hope he can make up for the loss of Mane. Sturridge is such a gifted player and I feel sorry for him bench-warming for us when he'd be a regular starter for most teams in the PL. He doesn't quite fit in with our style of play, but he's probably currently the best English striker.

Good stuff......a strong win there is both more than possible and a statement of our league leading capability.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City to share £120k bill to fly stars back from Brazil duty

                            17:23, 12 NOV 2016 UPDATED 17:26, 12 NOV 2016 BY RORY BRIGSTOCK-BARRON

Reds duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, Blues pairing David Luiz and Willian and City midfielder will be rushed back on same jet by the title contenders

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City will pool their significant resources to fly their Brazilian stars back from international duty on a private jet.

The title challengers are desperate to bring back their Samba stars for next weekend's Premier League fixtures immediately after their clash in Peru on Tuesday.

In-form Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho netted a beauty in the 3-0 win over Argentina on Thursday night, and he and Reds teammate Roberto Firmino will be joined by Chelsea stars David Luiz and Willian and City midfielder Fernandinho.

All three sides will be on the road as they return to action with Jurgen Klopp's pace-setters heading to Southampton, while City visit Crystal Palace and Chelsea face a tricky trip to Riverside.

All three could be back on Wednesday morning after the 12-and-a-half-hour flight from South America.

It won't be a one-stop shop though as Paris Saint Germain are also chipping in to ensure Thiago Silva has time to recover for their Ligue 1 clash with Nantes.

The plane pool is becoming somewhat of a tradition, with the three clubs making the same arrangement after last month's clash with Venezuela.
