It's not knee jerking when we've conceded over 3 or more goals in a game yet again due to terrible defending and keeping.if it was a one off then yeah, fair enough but that was horrendous and we have to go through the season with Karius in goal.

It's a 'two off' then.

We've only let three in one other game, which we won v Arsenal. Mainly we've been amazing this season. This is just one game, it's important we get back to winning ways next week.

That sort of result has been coming. Our performances have slowly been degrading for a few weeks.

It's performances like that and the mentality that was displayed today that are why we won't win the league.

First 25mins we were all over them, as soon as we went 2-0 up we stopped playing, it was as if we had said "that's it lads the game is won we can put our feet up now".

As soon as Bournemouth got a goal you could see that they could get something from the game, almost immediately we went up the other end and made it 3-1, you think at that point, yes keep playing your stuff and we'll be fine. Instead they do exactly the same thing and think we have the game won. Bournemouth then score 3 goals and win the game. Absolutely awful, really unprofessional, it wasn't that a particular player was to blame for a goal or goals they were all due to us not doing what has made us so successful this season.

What is it about Liverpool teams that have this ability to totally capitulate and lose (or at least make things difficult for themselves in) games that they should be winning comfortably?

We certainly win as a team, and lose as a team.

Not sure how comforting that is.

Klopp is great,nearly all of the time the team is great and we're miles better off than 2 years ago.
We can use this the way we used the Burnley result and go on another fantastic run.

it was ****. But we're going to get the odd **** game. We've been on a great run since Burnley, the trick now is to establish the same run again.

For me at 2-0 there are two options either we carry on playing the way we did in the first 20-25mins and go on to win the game comfortably, or we go into 'game management' mode and ensure that we maintain the lead worst case win 2-1 best case get a few on the break and still win by a few.

The latter option is one that since Benitez we have proved ourselves completely unable to do.

We either tried to go into game management mode and failed spectacularly or more likely thought we had the game won and couldn't be arsed.
