Just reading an article on the statzone site, and it would appear that since the league went to 20 teams in 1995 the team in first place on New year's day has finished in second place more often than it has finished in 1st, and the team in second place on New Year's day has finished in first more often than it has finished in second.

I'm not sure we did tbh. Origi did his job brilliantly and the whole team stepped up the pitch by a metre or two and we actually created a bit more threat in their half. I think we coped well.

I think we were struggling before he went off, and after. But our press kept them at distance and our CBs were outstanding on crosses and corners.

Yep, we did struggle before and after. I think Klopp brought on OrigI rather than a straight swap with Lucas to give us an outlet.
