Anyone else still buzzing with relief since yesterday's game? I'm loving it at work at the moment thinking about our points total and difference with the two manc clubs, compared to what it could have been had Utd won.

That confident feeling is returning and I can feel us blowing Plymouth, Swansea and Southampton away before sorting out Chelsea.
    One tit for another.

      na not buzzing

quietly content i'd say. Before the weekend if results went against us we could have slipped to 5th (I think? ) with united 2 pts behind - them on a good run on form and us on a bit of downward spiral.

city losing kept them at bay and the draw away to utd isn't a bad point at all - especially given circumstances such as our starting XI and injuries/absentees, our recent below standard form and them very much thinking 'they're back' etc.

It's so tight up there that ultimately the results against the big sides are going to be massive so you can't complain too much about drawing away to utd.

Id feel a lot better with a couple new signings tho to give us a bit of lift and boost to try and kick on

I'm not buzzing - I'm disappointed knowing they scored a goal that was offside. In fact, watching the replay I think Valencia was offside for a second time when Fellaini hit the host with his header - when contact was made Valencia looked off side but came back onside to provide the cross for the equaliser.

        Spawney gits.

But if it was the other way around I'd be loving it!

We played much better than I expected after seeing us away to Soton and the lineup had me nervous

Wijnaldum and Firmino had clear chances to win it as well.

Their Hoofball had to get them a spawny goal , but we came back and nearly nicked it again.

Cout being back is the catalyst for us to start playing better again as well I reckon

I'd like to say Carragher would probably knock him out but it would likely be the other way round!

Either way, neither of them were backing down. Terry Henry just sat there bang in the middle of them the poor ******* ha ha!

If they were both in their prime I'd still pick Carra. Proper hard. Not sly hard like Souness.

Souness would have killed Carragher on and off the pitch

Carragher is still one of the hardest players there's been in the last few decades

One thing we are agreed on is that we need an enforcer somewhere on the pitch and I don't think we have one.

Hard as **** enforcer in his day, cracks me up when they ask him about bad tackles and he has to lie and say that was a red , but he could play as well

He would have been sent off every week for all the things he done.

I think if he tackled like he use to he wouldnt be on the pitch but I dont think he would have needed to in modern football

Made your hairs stand on end some of his thunderous tackles.

That Scottish team had some brilliant players at the time

That top tackle it is soooo late.

His SPL career featured almost exclusively tackles like the ones depicted.
