Not at all pleased with this. And I never will be as long as we keep on wasting stoppage time sitters, having numerous defensive brainfarts and starting players who don't deserve to be anywhere near this club. LFC can do better.

We were superb. Battered them for 80 mins. That was relentless passing and pressing for 80 mins.

I disagree. We were very good. Played Chelsea off the park and needed that final pass and penetration. I think that's where we need to improve. Chelsea barely got out of their half all game, bar the last 10 minutes when we started to tire a bit and loss a bit of control.

We have so many players to improve on - LOVREN is a calamity and lucky he didn't cost us 2 goals, Milner looks like an average right footed midfielder playing at LB (he can't stop crosses), the midfield worked hard but lack class and pace, the front lads also worked hard and Bobby F is way off form.

Kante was superb for them - snuffed out any threat from us and used the ball v well. We could so do with a player like him.

We were defo better than we've been recently. Especially in the second half where we manage to open them up. Sadly we gave away a poor goal in the first half, but other than that it was okay. CHelsea didn't really do much, but we're very good defensively and in the organisation.

Kante looked so frustrating to play against today, thought he was excellent for them.

Still missing some quality in the squad, and generally didn't quite make the levels of earlier in the season. Countinho looks far from his earlier form this season, but I'm sure he will come back.

Btw, everyone bashing on Lovren - how many times did Matip pass the ball straight to Chelsea players right in front of our box, three, four times? Not a single mentioning of that... It's not just Lovren and Migs, we have a lot of work ahead of us...

Matip clearly not fit yet and rusty but Lovren has been doing this since joining us. Liability.

Yer wha?! He was excellent defensively but his passing was utterly disgraceful. He'd get destroyed on here if he was in a red shirt. It's hard to put in to words just how bad 66% pass completion for a midfielder who doesn't exactly play tough passes! Hendo by contrast (by far the best midfielder on the pitch was 80% with loads of long rangers)

I thought we were good tonight, we were rattled for about 20 mins after the goal, but then we were back on it. Chelsea are decent, so we weren't going to piss it, but Firmino should have scored 2.

A tricky game against a good team, we get a point and deserved all three. We played a lot better than them tonight.

We need something different in the number 9 position. We either need Origi to come good or we need to get someone in.
