We've a win percentage of something like 75% with him but around 30% without.

There are probably similar stats for Matip and a couple of others though but Mane's at the business end and it's goals that make the best difference.

Agree, nice to see us closing a game out for once. Table's looking much healthier now.

That was the most surprising thing for me, I thought they'd sit back but it was a wide open game which suited us down to the ground.

Need to bring the same intensity to the Leicester game next week now!

more than 2 weeks till our next game. Klopp will have them well prepared for sure. Think with a game of week till the end of the season and no cups to think about really positive we can kick on and get a CL spot.

Everyone was outstanding today, a proper performance and spurs were ever in the game 4 or 5 nil wouldn't have flattered.

Hopefully with teams back in Europe it'll see them drop a few points in the league and we've got to keep this level of football now until the end of the season

Yeah it's the consistency isn't it. Keep the tempo up with every game we play and force teams into mistakes. When at our best we're the best team in the league, both offensively and defensively. It's just the consistency we're lacking, as I've touched on a few times before. Our midfield was deemed to be our achilles heel a lot but look today, all three of them were superb, with and without the ball. The way we press it's so important it's done in unison.

That went better than I thought.

Our first eleven is brilliant, Klopp needs to build a squad to compliment that.

Great performance, the result really flattered Spurs, it could and should have been more but given our recent form it's just nice to get a win!

Odd tactics from Spurs really, the way they set up played into our hands
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Firmino was excellent today - Klopp said as much too.

clearly Spurs hadn't seen us in January. Really silly of them not deploying similar tactics.

Still great to see Mane look so dangerous again.

                            Holding Midfielders

Spurs had one today and we got through the middle of them time and time again first half.

                              Mane was obviously MoTM
Wjinaldum just adds a better balance and intelligence to the midfield
Mignolet made a huge save in the first half

On to the next one, hopefully Coutinho can get back in the swing of things too.
Really enjoyed the match, Mane the obvious one but I also think that Gini just keeps everything going so nicely, keeps the ball and moves it quickly, he needs to be a starter.
