Yep, I'd much rather have our boys. Gini and Hendo have schooled them for 180mins this season.

Thought we were excellent today. Very professional in both halfs. Lots of motm contenders. As others have said pace will be the key to beating top and bottom teams. Adding more pace in wide positions must be the priority. Lalana much better in midfield.

You can tell Lucas must be seriously injured because he was massive today. Best game for us for a while. He only gets injured when he starts looking like a giant.

Wijnuldum is a strong mofo, was brushing off Wanyama, Alli and Dembele time and again. And some of those impossible angle flicks to get us going again, he is soooo under-rated. Even now.

Lallana and Mane back to their October-best (see what I did there?). And Coutinho and Firmino are starting to get a feel for it again. Matip is also so calming at the back. So unflustered.

I'll claim it as no one else is daring...we'rrrrre back!

Commentators were saying they had two which is why we were finding a fair bit of space in wider areas. They certainly lacked mobility in midfield

We'll be back when we hammer (Watford style) the next "weaker" team who park the bus.

Great game, the score could have been off the charts.

Great win and well deserved. Held Tottenham from creating a single good chance all game really (well Son had one I guess...)!

Mané! Let's hope he is available for the rest of the season.

Hope Lucas injury is not to serious now he started playing well in the CD.

****ing enjoyed this afternoon - watched this then followed up with the rugby which had been recording. On friday morning I was listening to a bit of TS and Ray "I hate Liverpool" Wilkins was on saying how he could easily see Spurs winning this one.

So suck on that Ray you Chav-Manc Baldy Bellend.

You see this is what I think we should have done in many of our other games

Start fast with a good tempo and then manage the game later

Many of the games of the last few weeks we have lacked tempo in our passing and pressing and have tried to manage things from the get go

Good result, much better performance (particularly first half) but I expected us to get a result today. Its against the lesser teams we have struggled

Cracking display, Potch didn't change his tactics and we destroyed them. Mane is a beast, so important to us.

The energy the front six put in, but particularly Lallana, Wijnaldum and Firmino was incredible. Mane is the difference in so much as he has pace in behind, when you remove that option we become more predictable. The blend of Coutinho:Firmino:Mane is just perfect.

                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.
