i will be more concerned if we can show the same level of intensity, movement and effective penetration against sides who sit deep and are well drilled to hit us on the counter.

our next game against leicester might be more of a test then the following game against arsenal.
then burnley who did so well against chelsea will also sit deep...
then man city who will play an open game.
then everton at home, dirty tackles and taking out one of our key players for the season will be like winning a cup final for them...

so not easy to continue our full on blitzkrieg of opposition sides as the ones who sit back will ask questions that so far we have been unable to answer.

Actually I think thats a decent run.

Leicester....Think we will piss this, they are woeful.
Arsenal.....Big team, We will be up for it.
    Burnle.....****e away from home
Man City.....Big team, We will be up for it.
Everton.....Small team there good run will be over by then!

Really think we can put 4 wins on the bounce before we meet City.

      fingers crossed.....

For me, the question mark over the team is "can they break down teams that put 10 men behind the ball?"

As good as the Spurs game was, that question hasn't been answered. And to be perfectly honest, looking at our fixtures, I am not sure if that question will be answered this season. Because after Leicester away, the only games we play against teams in a relegation fight are at home to Bornemouth, Palace and Boro on the last day of the season. Bournemouth I don't think are capable of playing that way. And by the time we play Palace, they will probably need to go for it a bit anyway because a 0-0 might not be any use to them. And Boro too because it is the last day of the season. The likes of Burnley, Stoke and West Ham won't flood the defense because they are safe in mid-table.

When people like Ian Wright goes on telly and says things like "Mane is back, liverpool are ineffective without him", it just shows up how crap punditry in UK is as well. Mane has been great for us and we did miss his pace. But Coutinho has been injured and clearly is still coming back. Henderson and Lallana both have had niggles and had to play through with them. And also Matip being out injured hurt the team too. And that all led to Klopp not being able to play a settled team - either in defense or attack. However, at the end of season postmortem, what will have stopped us having a really good crack at winning the league was the bench. When Klopp needed anything beyond his first 11, nobody really stepped up. T-A-A at right back showed a bit of promise and Woodburn might make it in the medium to long term future. But the big disappointment was Sturridge. We all knew that Mane was going to the AFCON. That was D-S's time to shine. And he ****ed it up. But we don't really hear the likes of Wright or Shearer saying that.

Origi too to a lesser extent. He had a few games and scored a couple of goals but he also hasn't really kicked on from last year.

So although we can all point to the fact that both of our goalies look a bit dodgy. And that we have a midfielder playing left back. And that our center backs have a mistake in them. And that our captain isn't really a natural holding midfielder. At the end of the season, it will be the fact that we haven't had an effective back up strikers that will have cost us.

For me, although it is a pity that we are still not in the FA Cup and EFL Cup final, this 2 week break can be used to really get the team fresh, fit and focused for the run in of fixtures. And I think that we can really finish the season well. It is just a pity we don't have an extra 4 or 5 points on the board because if we did, then I'd still fancy us to make Chelsea sweat a bit....

Very strong 11 but when anyone of the front 6 are out, the system seems to break down a bit. Same if Matip is out the defence goes to ****.

From what I've seen at Redcafe if one of Utd/City draw their next FA Cup game this weekend AND Utd go through to the next round of the EL then that City game won't happen until April 26th!

Which sits nicely between the Burnley away game and the Swansea (relegation fight?) game at home.

We did win four games successively without Matip and Coutinho.
              Are we winning?

Great performance again versus a rival , these games I look forward to as we always seem to perform in them

It is the ****e at the bottom that worries me.

The problem is that ****e is not as ****e as we think, it's why we keep ****ing up against them, if we treated them the same as we treat the top 6, we would be almost un catchable now.

I believe we can carry form our form into a certain amount of games but eventually we drop down a level when we don't have our best eleven out.

That's a problem most teams have no?

Think only City offensively and Chelsea dont have that issue. Funnily enough they will probably end up 1st and 2nd

City have had issues which they seemed to have found a solution to by dropping Aguero lately. Chelsea are more experienced and the defensive side of their game is excellent.

Exactly mate if we could defend a lead or even learn that drawing isn't a bad thing. Mentality needs to not lose these games.

Bournemouth was the stand out one for me , learn how to close out a game like Chelsea do.

Same mistake we made against Crystal Palace in 'that' season. Our leaders included Henderson who as it happens is our captain this season. We just simply never learn, or aren't taught.

Ii think we just get nervous because our players have no confidence defensively
