Great result, great performance, and much needed.
But we are quite the conundrum arn't we.... Unbeaten against Arsenal (2 wins), Man Utd ( 2 Draws), Spurs (1 win 1 draw), Chelsea (1 win 1 draw), Man City (1 win) ... but yet lose to Hull, Swansea, Bournemouth, Burnley, and Leicester
We now need to go on a massive run in the last 12 games, its very very tight for the Champions League places with just 4 points covering positions 2 to 6 (excluding games in hand). With Chelsea effectively having the league wrapped up, that's 5 teams playing for 3 places.
Need to rinse and repeat that performance and result 12 more times please
El Kloppo !!
"As a player I had fifth division skills and a first division brain. The result was a second division footballer"
"How could I justify picking up my pay cheque if I stand here and say the tie is over? It would be just as stupid as saying we're going to walk all over them [in the second leg]. I can always supply silly answers to silly questions...... Yes, the tie is over, but we have to play them anyway."

It was a great performance, again shows that we can do it against the big sides, it's a shame we can't do the same against the so called lesser sides. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think a big factor will be that once we get City out of the way in a couple of weeks all our rival games are done. They all have to play each other and take points off each other. Scum have Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal in the last 6 games._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

Yep, we cant really ask for it any better. City still got Europe too, they've all got the cup etc. Got to take advantage of this, it's such a huge opportunity and all that extra cash to strengthen the squad with would be amazing.Originally posted by red g View PostCompare that to Arsenal who still have Spurs, Everton, Scum and City and they do **** against decent teams.

Great win but let's be honest it's not these game that we worry about is it? Hopefully we put in the same effort and application against Burnley.
One thing that I didn't like is even at 2-1 we still had both of our full backs bombing forward. I wish we would learn to be more conservative in situations like this

Ha ha ha! Ah he's ****ing crap with the ball. Drives me insane. He'd be a very good right back in a limited team who don't push their full backs on much, but with how high we play our FBs we need to upgrade on him. A complete waste of space with the ball at his feet.Originally posted by Rich View PostP.S. you stick a Bellerin in our side and we'd kick on again. How many times does Clyne get into space and do F all. Anyway, that's one to be addressed in the summer.
Kinda buzzing after that - my first time in the new Main Stand - but it's so ****ing annoying too. Klopp will get it right. 23 games against the top 7 and lost 1 ffs. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
