Matip and Lovren have started 13 league games together and we've not lost yet, only conceded 11 in that time too which is very good, the **** defence suddenly looks pretty solid when they are paired. 13 games out of 33 for our main CB pairing is ****ing terrible though isn't it? The drop off from them 2 to the rest is too big so vital we get another quality one, if we can upgrade Lovren in doing that then great, links to Dijk are encouraging.

Yup, the injury niggles are a pain for us as they're clearly a good pairing. Klavan has played way too many games for us, he's probably fine as a once in a blue moon 4th choice CB but that's about it.

Did the job. At times we invite pressure through stupid decisions like Bobby trying a trick on edge of box but overall it's 3 points. Moreno should of been shot if we had conceded at the end. That is him summed up perfectly, brain dead.



Origi put in a good second half shift. He's getting stronger.
