it could be said that while Klopp has a lot to learn, to get 3rd or 4th in the circumstances he has done a pretty fab job!!! What more could have been expected from this season?

did you expect us to to piss top 4 this year? most people had written us off.

I agree, I think I've always said that I'd be pleased with top 4 this season.

Klopp having a lot learn is true IMO but that also means he has a lot in reserve. If we get CL footy I'll be delighted actually after all the difficulties and if we look at the competition, but it's still not there.

I'm not lying to myself, he is a good player and have many qualities - no doubt about that - he is just far from irreplaceable as been suggested. There are a decent amount of strikers out there that can do what he does. He is just not IMO as good as the pedistal the English media and a fair few others tend to put him on. But that goes with A LOT of English players!

I've found that Kane is one of those players for whom my appreciation really stepped up upon seeing him live as opposed to on tv. He's a real handful throughout a game but a lot of the good stuff he does won't make a highlights reel or catch a producer's attention. Definitely one of the best front men in the prem.

Overrated maybe but in terms of what he offers the team (Firmino levels of work + LOTS of goals) I'm not sure who in the world has that package, Griezemann maybe

Kane is overrated IMO, and it's not that hard to find a striker with his qualities. Of course it takes time to get them in to the system etc. Alli is harder of the two, but as any player hardly irreplaceable.

The manager is far more important for continuity and development of the long term project at Spurs, and IMO is the only thing they need to keep a hold on to stay relevant next year.

No he isn't, he's a very decent front man and has excellent feet and close ball control. Just because he looks a dumbass and sounds daft when he speaks doesn't mean he's isn't a decent footballer. He's a fantastic finisher as well to be fair.

Really depends on how he is rated if to judge if he's overrated. If you read my follow up comment, then you know what I mean when I say I think he's overrated. Good footballer, but not quite at the world class pedistal he is at times being put on.

In my opinion at least. Rather have him than Sturridge or Origi no doubt!

I reckon he'll turn out to be a Clive Allen type: good for a few seasons and maybe prolific for the odd one but never quite an absolutely top player.
