    Southampton home

Just Coutinho in doubt I'd assume.

I know it's most likely just a dead leg & he should recover so same starting 11 or do we play Lallana in place of Lucas at home? The rest should pick itself imo.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Lucas or Wij for Lallana and Origi for Sturridge!

Can't rely on set pieces and wonder goals every game, we are creating so little it's a bit concerning so no harm in changing it up a bit. Lucas, Can and Wij is just overkill. Sturridge brings a willingness to try stuff and an urgency to score, it's not like Origi is firing. I dont think he likes changing stuff though

Sturridge did look interested last night when he came on. As he has only played about 14 minutes of football in the last 24 months, he might be a fresher option than Firmino up top right now. And potentially a more clinical option than Origi. Plus if he scores a goal or two in the last couple of games, then it might be just what we need for the likes of Stoke and West Ham to be deluded enough to spend £25m on him!!!

I thought Lallana looked good last night, especially for - as Klopp said - a guy that has had 2 training sessions after 4 weeks out.

So maybe a good line up will be the defense as per last night, midfield of Can, Gini and Lallana with a front 3 of Coutinho, Sturridge and Firmino - with Orgy to get on in the second half.

If Coutnho is out, then I would like to see Sturridge and Origi start up front, with Firmino playing behind them

Then have a midfield trio of Can, Wijnaldum, and Lallana.

        Basically a diamond formation 4-4-2

Think your right Frank, Storage will be playing for a move, can see him being the difference last few games as long as he stays fit

We all know he is going to move to one of those clubs, stay fit consistently and score against us at every opportunity

Redmond will be tough again, so I wouldn't experiment with TAA in this game. Got his arse handed to him the last time. But on Milner's side I would be tempted to play Moreno just for his energy as Milner is beginning to feel it. Plus we need someone to get behind the lines. A big risk but maybe one we can afford with the rewards being so great?

I'm surprised with some of the 'chances' you lot are suggesting.

Sturidge I can understand & the diamond formation yeah it could work too.

But Moreno instead of Milner? it's a bit early to be on the sauce isn't it?

I'd be amazed if the line up is different from last night with Lallana for Coutinho being the only exception due to injury.

One thing about Klopp is that he is certainly predictable with his teams and lack of changes.

taa on the RW to give us pace and width for the last 15-20 minutes, if not sooner, please.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

If we went into the last game of the season 3 points ahead of both United and City AND with a 15 goal swing on the goal difference, then I still wouldn't risk playing Moreno!!!

i think that both Lallana and Coutinho will start. I wouldn't be surprised to see Firmino get a break though with a front 3 of Origi, Coutinho and Lallana.

Can, Lucas and Gino seem to be okay as a midfield 3 and that front 3 will at least have some gas in the tank to press. Plus if we have Sturridge and Firmino on the bench then, we can chase a goal in the last 20 mins if we need it.

i thought that it was interesting that TAA kept his place on the bench last night even though we had Klavan and Morono there too.

Fair point. Maybe I just miss his school kid dashes to nowhere land and the look of panic as he turns around. Can't wait to get rid of him in the summer though.

Firmino has only had one game a month to contend with April/May. He can have a rest until Sunday. Unless he is carrying an injury of course.
