I would expect he'll be part of the 1st team squad. He looks like a great option when teams park the bus, in the last 20 mins or so, when we can start launching crosses at him. I bet he doesn't close his eyes when he heads the ball. Defo becoming a fan. Early days of course. Comparisons to Heskey are off the mark.

Heskey was **** in the air. I lost count of the number if his flickon s that went the opposite direction of Owens runs... and people thought they were some kind of awesome pairing... should have played more with Limanen.
Solanke reminds me of a less dirty Costa... probably why Mourinho rated him.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I like him, he's a big cunt and he won't be bullied. He has a hard face like he won't take ****. He's got good feet, his close control is decent and he always looks to get a teammate in which shows he's not selfish and that he's a team player. He can head as well, again an area we are lacking in and have done for us. These Chelsea London lads seem to be of a better quality to what we have here up North. He'll do well, he'll be a huge hit. Can't wait for him to bang one in at Stamford Bridge it'll be hilarious. And it will happen.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Would love Opta to do some analysis on how many Heskey "flick-ons" actually reached OwenOriginally posted by Charly View PostHeskey was **** in the air. Might be a bit early to tell how good Solanke is going to be. It's not too early to tell that Origi can't be in a starting line up.Originally posted by Gingawaria View PostAnyone reckon he could be ahead of Origi in the pecking order after the pre-season he's had?Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

he knows whats going on and pounces like a powerful cat like predator searching out his prey then grasping it by the throat and draining the life from it to satisfy his manly hunger.

Yeah, i don't think Sturridge is ever disciplined enough to play through the centre really anyway, he's a bit old school in wanting to come deep (OK) or drift into wide areas. Coupled with not being a great presser of the ball he was never an ideal match for Klopp's game. All that said though, he can be an excellent option off the bench (when fit). Origi is another drifter tbf.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostGiven our lack of back-up wingers, I think Origi and Sturridge will be our sort of wide-ish players, with Solanke in the middle, but all able to rotate. We've seen glimpses of it in pre-season.
