Robbo. What a player. A genuine great.

What a signing. No one could have seen what he’d end up being for the club. Another big loss for the club as a real leader and standard setter.

We knew it was coming but it doesn't make it any easier to take....

My favourite player, a fellow Scotsman in Liverpool, the best left back I've seen play for the club.

He's been missed this season and will be missed in the future

I think we knew it was coming, he was a great player for us, best LB I have seen. It feels like the end of an era now.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'll be in tears tbh when he goes, absolutely gets the club and the fans 100%, has done since day one. It's sad he's been phased out as he has a lot to offer but he's probably ****ing fed up with Slot the same as us so you can't blame him. What a signing though.

One of the best Scots to have played for the club, and that is really saying something.

Am with Exiled Red in saying he is the best LB I have seen at LFC and easily one of the best LBs I have seen with any team.

Andy has been great. Leaving at the right time and in the right way.
I have seen them all, since Alec Linday and Joey Jones. Robbo is the best of them.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

If asked who was the best left back of the last 40 years I think a lot would say Maldini but if you ask them who is second I think a lot would say Robbo along with Andy Brehme and Roberto Carlos (who would be a wrong answer as he could shoot but his defending was nothing special.)

I can't think of many left backs who have played in England who have been better than Robbo other than Ashley Cole.

He’s been a great player for us & wish him nothing but the best in the future.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Yep Maldini would be number one for me, but Robertson would be in the next tier along with Lizarazu, Brehme, Marcelo and Abidal.

At Liverpool, he is head and shoulders the best left back I have seen and is in my top three LFC Scots. ( Souness, Dalglish and Robertson - Rated for on pitch stuff only)

Have him ahead of Hansen as Robertson was the best ever for us in his position for me whereas Jockey was second best, imo of course, in his position for us.
