On the basis of that performance he starts on Tuesday.Modifying post.

Well speaking for myself, I knew very little about the guy and the very little I saw of him last season had me thinking he was all offensive play and not great in terms of defensive play/positioning.
We will know more about him when we get put under pressure as a team, but today he was very impressive in pretty much ever aspect of his play and it was a very good debut. He has certainly hit the ground running and made the most of the chance he was given.
I loved how he linked with Mane all game long, and think if we had a superior LCB and more quality in the centre that we would be able to handle blips in his form as he settled in and developed more as a player.
A most encouraging start to his LFC career.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

when to hold em, when to fold em. when to walk away, when to run...he's got the lot.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI thought that was an outstanding debut. Didn't loet the occasion get to him and settled really quickly.
He knows the position in a way Moreno never will, knows when to push, when to sit. When to pass forward when to play safe. He put a tackle in toward the end which showed solid timing and a safety first attitude.

Around the same time, we had Danny Wilson, but that went about as well.Originally posted by SB View PostWho was the last one? Charlie Adam wasn't it?
that went well didn't it
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

how could have ever forgotten the legend that was Danny bloody Wilson.
regular starter for Rangers was he not? He came, he saw & he left just as quickly.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
