I thought that was an outstanding debut. Didn't loet the occasion get to him and settled really quickly.

He knows the position in a way Moreno never will, knows when to push, when to sit. When to pass forward when to play safe. He put a tackle in toward the end which showed solid timing and a safety first attitude.

He also played 3-4 outstanding crosses in at least 2 of which deserved a better end result.

It makes such a difference having a left footed left back.

Not really tested defensively but he's got a lovely left foot. Very encouraging start.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Buzzo has not the nationalistic pride going on there

Did very well and will be very useful against bus parkers

As others have said, he wasn't tested defensively because of the way Palace played but he put in a good performance and was MOTM for me.

Encouraging to hear he played well. Only caught the last half an hour of the game. Happy to have a bit of Scots blood in the team (Adam never counted).

                        looked good overall.
he seemed a little hesitant to step forward with the ball but was happy to run forward and receive it in the other half. makes himself available for 1-2s and isnt blindly running chasing bubbles in the wind.
a few decent crosses, and towards the end of the game he seemed to settle his nerves a bit.

                        good lad.

                            John Arne Riise impressed.

As Buttso said. He's been excellent and I'll have him as my mom.
                              Are we winning?

He was really good. He has to be ahead of Moreno, he has to be. He looked similair to his Scotland performances - decent distribution, strong in the tackle and a sense of reliability from him. Encouraging stuff though
