Of course, he doesn't have to prove himself good enough for the team after moving from Hull City. The suggestion is laughable.

I don't see why its laughable? He's a decent player, loads of international experience and would do a more than solid job for us. His arrival just happens to have sparked Moreno into a bit of form and consistency.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostOf course, he doesn't have to prove himself good enough for the team after moving from Hull City. I think he is 5th in the combined Player of the Season poll Morse runs despite only playing 3 games. He's done nothing wrong, and I've no issues with him saying he wants to play. He's hardly delivered an ultimatum, he's just said he had a chat with Klopp to find out why he wasnt playing. Surely thats a good thing.
I'm sure Robbo will get chances this season. It seems unlikely that Moreno will play 2 games a week every week if we stay in the CL.Modifying post.

The laughable bit was sarcasm buzzo. I'm just not sure why he feels the need to tell people that he's had a chat with the manager. Between the two of them I would think. To do so is obviously making a public complaint, and despite being Scottish I don't think he's really in a position to do so.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI don't see why its laughable? I don't think its a complaint, he's allowed to be disappointed? I've no issues with the entire exchange. I've no issues with him not being in the team either whilst Moreno is performing.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostThe laughable bit was sarcasm buzzo. Happens every time. People will read the translated/paraphrased/edited version and criticise the player for talking to the press, instead of 'doing their talking on the pitch'.
What Moreno said to the press was arguably worse and he probably would have slated for it had he not been playing well, but alas he is so it's hardly been mentioned. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was reading the Paisley biography, when they signed a player he'd always get put in the reserves and they'd wait for him to knock on the manager's door asking for games. They wanted to see if the player had it in him to seek the manager out and ask for games.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostHe came to Liverpool from Hull. He needs to thank his lucky stars, not whinge about game time. Knuckle down and prove you're good enough for us.
I'd rather have lads who are confident and desperate to play than some shrinking violate who'll just sit around in the ressies not saying anything.

Totally agree with this, I think it is a great sign.Originally posted by Patricks_Berger View PostWas reading the Paisley biography, when they signed a player he'd always get put in the reserves and they'd wait for him to knock on the manager's door asking for games.
