Have been really pleased with him. Did not know an awful lot about him when we signed him, and as such had no idea as to whether or not we had signed a good player.


But tonight is no different to any other time I have watched him play for us. I am left thinking how the hell has such a good young player received so little fanfare.

Great attitude on and off the ball, love that gritty determination he shows, and he looks every inch a proper Liverpool player.

The only thing I would say about his delivery into the box is sometimes it's not really suited for the players we have on the pitch, some of them are more suited to a target man, which we don't really have. But I think that he will adapt this as he gets more game time and develops a better understanding with his teammates. But he looks a quality player.

It was his aggression that surprised me the most tonight. Loved it. Until now I've always felt Moreno should come straight back in, but Robbo is making one hell of a case for himself.

Not so much now, but in his first few games he was doing it quite a bit, he does it less now.

Me and my son were at the game tonight, I said to him at half time that Robertson was having a brilliant game, and his response was "You're just gay for Robertson because he's Scottish"
