Offensively there may not be much between Moreno and Robbo, but defensively he is miles better. He just has a better fundamental understanding of playing left back.

He can definitely get better, and will I think for me his potential is higher also.

I reckon there is quite a bit between them. Robertson is far better positionally, and way more consistent in his play, especially when it comes to defending.

He seems a far more dogged player with much better concentration levels. Am making the concentration comment based on how he seems able to man mark with very few slip ups, and from how good he normally is at keeping a line with the centre backs.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

ali dive, kane dive, lamella dive. cunts. they are like london mancs.
No a different incident, close to the goal in the first half. There was no dive, but Robbo took a dreadful touch and nearly let them in. Just about got away with it.

like night and day defensively. Moreno shouldn't be any Where near thst first 11 whilst Robertson is there.

Positionally for me he's extremely good both in defensive positions AND attacking wise

Said it the other week I don't think there are many better leftbacks in the league

I thought generally he did well yesterday and IMO he's much safer than having Moreno in the team.

Not perfect but he gets in the right positions. Much better in a defensive sense than anyone we have had for a while.

His crossing was ****. It happens. Onto next game.

I think both fullbacks struggled yesterday when they got into good positions - both still young and inexperienced and it just looked like the moment got to them and a rush of blood led to poorly his crosses etc

however, on the whole I've thought Robertson's crossing/passing in previous games has been pretty decent and into the right areas - we just haven't got people into those areas enough.

Overall, he's a great buy and he's only going to keep getting better...just hope klopp doesn't **** about an chop and change. Let Robertson stay there now and make the place his own.

Graham Hunter is a bellend imo but Robbo speaks well so this might be worth a listen

Oh he so is one isn't he? I've listened to his podcasts before and they vary from sycophantic to sickeningly nostalgic to braggard to nauseatingly wet...

                      Sometimes they're ok though :/

                        Listening to it just now.

Robbo comes across as very grounded and with a better ability to express himself verbally than I am used to from a footballer.

Hunter, less so. If he were chocolate etc. etc. that said he is asking some decent questions.

Struggled defensively the last couple of games - was really poor on a couple of crosses today that we were fortunate not to get punished for.

Played alright against Spurs. Not at previous MotM levels but still solid.

Didn’t see the game today, but if he struggled and we kept a clean sheet...?

more cause Southampton was so ****, their only good chance was on the left against him when Karius blocked it.

Totally misjudged the flight of a cross but Karius made a very good save.

I've also noticed he runs with his wrists bent back like a bird, so annoying!
