Yeah, agree with that. Aurelio's passing could be absolutely magnificent at times, but Robbo is more consistent and holds up far better when faced with a stiff breeze.

Definite rose tinted Aurelio specs. He was a composed accomplished full back, but Indont recall him being pivotal to our performances in the way that’s Robbo (and Trent when he is on form) can be.

And Robbo does it game after game; Aurelio could not stay fit enough to do that.

Aurelio was only better in theory
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Most assists in the squad so far this season for Andy with 6.

                    Interesting.

That leads me to deduce that -

                    - we're scoring more goals from wise positions than centrally and / or through counter attacking. This may be because the opposition are playing differently, or that we have figured out how to play against the bus parkers.
                    - if TAA can step up and start converting into more assists the numerous attacks he is involved in, we're gonna give the opposition quite a bit to think about.

                    Anyway, good news all round.

its obvious that we have tried to nick Citys plan of getting it wide to the byline and pulling it back for a tap in, worked well first couple of games but our build up is so slow and pedestrian and no driving force in midfield, not getting many bodies in the box its no wonder we look a bit iffy.

Robertson is brilliant of getting into really dangerous positions to set up chances, Where as Trent who's delivery is miles better, just doesn't seem to be able to and is putting his crosses in 20/30 yards deeper creating difficult chances to score.

Lost count the amount of times VVD had the ball on Sunday and Robertson seemed the obvious pass but he'd put the ball out to the right and tell Robbo to go get on the end of it in their half instead.

                        I've wondered exactly the same.

We scored the most goals from central for all the big teams last season when Bobby was thriving [ame]http://twitter.com/HalfSpaceSoccer/status/1021834563310546944[/ame]

Scotland defender Andy Robertson has revealed he seriously considered a transfer to Stoke before he signed for Liverpool.

Robertson signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2017 for £8million after leaving Hull and he has proven to be a bargain signing for Jurgen Klopp, who also tried to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester.

But Robertson says he considered Stoke as a “really good option” option and talks with then Potters boss Mark Hughes took place.

The Glasgow-born 24-year-old has though established himself at Anfield and made 45 appearances for the Reds, thus vindicating his decision to sign for the Reds.

“Stoke were quite interested in me. Mark Hughes had liked me and I think there was a wee bit of chat with them,” Robertson told Youtube football channel ‘Open Goal’.

“So I was thinking they were a really good option; I think they finished top 10 that season and I was trying to get my head on a move to Stoke.”

Robertson, who is now Scotland captain, says he wasn’t sure about a move to The Britannia Stadium because he thought he may have had to play second fiddle to Erik Pieters.

“I was thinking they were really keen, and at that point under Mark Hughes they were playing good football. They had Erik Pieters; I wasn’t sure if I was going in as back-up to him as he was flying that season,” added Robertson.

Things certainly worked out for Robertson with Hughes getting the sack at Stoke and the Potters getting relegated to the Championship last season.

Worried about playing 2nd fiddle to Erik Pieters to one of the best fullbacks in the league
