I don't think it's anything to do with pressure. Tiredness should not come into play because we've had 10 days without any games before the recent batch of games. A better explanation is to remain at this level for 99% of games at that intensity. He's done pretty well on the whole if you ask me.Are we winning?

He's given away a couple of free kicks, and not been as much of an attacking threat than in a couple of games. he was brilliant v Watord and got an assist v Bournemouth.
He's a Left Back though and we are five game in a row without conceding.
He is probably near the top for assists for the season (I believe he has 8).
I dont think our current issues (if indeed we have any) are with the full backs. Man U away, Everton away and Bayern are tough games.
For me the only games the team has underperformed in are Leicester at home, where the pitch is a mitigating circumstance, and West Ham away.Modifying post.

Nobody is saying hes ****, I am just saying hes not playing at the same level as he was and I dont think its down to the teams we were playingOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostHe's given away a couple of free kicks, and not been as much of an attacking threat than in a couple of games. he was brilliant v Watord and got an assist v Bournemouth.

If you are going to post anything critical about Robbo, I insist it is caveated with some positive stats
I think what we have to realise is attack wise, the likes of Robbo (8 assists) Salah (17 goals) and Mane (14 goals?) have carried us this season. When they dip we need others to step in. For me the form of Firmino, a guy who is pivotal to how we play, has been an issue. I wonder if teams have figured out that if they mark him they cut us off at source?
We soooooo badly miss the Ox.Modifying post.

One thing I will caveat is that Trent being out hampered Robertson as Milner is much less effective than Trent so its easier to shut off the biggest attacking threat (Robertson)
When both Robertson and Trent are playing then generally we have double the threat so its harder to shut down both sides unless they both have an off day (like Sunday)
Yes we have missed the drive of Oxlade-Chamberlain as hes probably one of the few players who drives forward on and off the ballBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Watford is a good example of how good a team we are when both full backs are playing well. Baring in mind Watford went into that game in really good form.
One thing I have noticed, which I imagine is even clearer at the game is though people moan about Hendo and Milner not getting forward. Part of their job seems to be covering the full backs when they are on the rampage.
When it all clicks (as it did v Watford) it looks awesome though.Modifying post.

Yeah Hendo, Milner and Fabinho all drop in to cover the space when the fullbacks push onOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostYeah, agree with that.

It was massively evident in the game v Watford (Fabinho was doing this time and time again) as Milner was also playing a bit further forward as they were playing lots of 3rd man running down the right between Salah, Trent and Milner who was ultimately the 3rd manBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I’m not having that.
He got roasted twice, but other than that was ok. Nothing special.
Watch the runs he (and Trent) make that don’t get picked up, but create space by taking a defender out of the game.
Why do we always have to have one player every game that gets slaughtered? Sports not that simplistic.Modifying post.

Firstly I dont slaughter players. Bayern targetted both Robbo and Arnold. Both players should be wise enough after getiing caught out the first time, but no. The booking was absolutely needlessOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostI’m not having that.
