Loved the story about when did Robbo feel he had made it as part of the squad and he said after a game away at Bournemouth Klopp came up to him after a few beers on a night out and said, "I know we said none of us would talk about football tonight, but you were ****ing brilliant today".



The levels of admiration from Klopp from all parties are never ending.

The while klopp is astounding, I know no-one who dislikes him and whenever some says something like that, you just grin nod and know that's exactly how it was.

I cannot believe how fortunate we are to have him as our manager.

Grossly off topic, but to do with the golf stance chat on the previous page. I was watching a doumentary on Brian Lara and it showed footage of him playing golf. Obviously he was one of the best batsmen of all time (left handed) - was shocked to see him tee off right handed, Googled it and he always plays golf right which is very unusual for someone who bats left.

Good shout on Riise. Don't think he is better than Robbo to be honest but under Jurgen Klopp who knows?

If Robertson can add goals to his game, then he could be the best left back on the planet.

We have about 4 or 5 players that when they don't play, our team is missing something. Robertson is one of those.

The way Trent can hit a ball is a gift, not many have it. Robbo is a better defender than Trent imo and his energy is insane. Trents set pieces mean he'll always get more goals and assists than Robbo, even if Robbo's figures are pretty high. I wouldn't change Robbo for any LB in the world. Improving his final ball is something he could probably work on but he is a world class LB and can still improve.
