His number of assists from corners this calendar must be the best in Europe by a large margain.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He's arguably the most well rounded fullback in world football. He does everything (other than shoot ) incredibly well.

His defending at Wembley was a ****show though. Still not quite at his consistent best, but over the season he’s been great.

Everyone has been too busy creaming themselves over Thiago to point out that it was his job to cover Robbo when he started to move forward just before City's first goal...Thiago too moved forward, leaving the flank (and VVD) v.exposed.

That’s not really what happened. Robbo committed to going into the back of Foden who was able to play the short pass to Fernandinho, taking Robbo out of the game. Thiago had no chance to cover the other two city players.

This was their positions as Robbo decided to rush in

Roll the film on. watch Thiago's movement and watch where the ball goes.

Yes, he knows that if Robbo is going to press Foden then it’s his job to close down Grealish so sprints to do so. Robbo over-committed.

The second goal was for a similar reason.

Seems odd to single Robbo out for that goal. If we lose the ball, Klopp expects our players to try and win it back as fast as possible.

Grealish being allowed to wander into our box completely unmarked was why we conceded that goal.

Think people are being far to critical of our play. A few weeks ago we were starting games at a lower tempo, playing within ourselves, then picking it up a bit 2nd half to get a goal or two. People complained about the slow starts and how it will cost us.

Now we're blitzing some teams early, killing games off, then intentionally or not, but certainly understandably, taking our foot off the gas and conceding some play. Good teams like City are always likely to hurt us when we're not on the front foot, so I wouldn't be overly critical.

If United weren't so ****, they might have did the same in their match, but thanks to Alisson, we repelled their only decent chance and soon showed our superiority again.

A goal from Robbo at the kop end will likely give everyone a boost

Definitely hardened up our attack when we needed it too

He was outstanding, relentless in his attacking too and a lovely goal. Most of Everton's breakaway's came from Gordon on Trent's side (who teams often target) so Robbo didn't have much to do defensively. Him or Matip for MOTM for me.

Keep hearing how he looks tired or not at his best, but f*ck me, his numbers this year are insane. The number of clean sheets and assists since Christmas is unreal, plus two goals to add to the collection. What a player.
