Keeps getting subbed. He must've been subbed more times in the last few weeks than in the rest of his LFC career combined. Managing his minutes, is he knackered, or Klopp unhappy with his form?
I don't think he's been very good of late, and is possibly suffering a bit for not having the same relationship and link-up with Diaz as he had with Mane. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

not at his best for sure, but I thought he started well and looked bright - but faded as the second half wore on.Originally posted by wiw View PostA combo of managing his minutes/he's knackered I think. His fitness does seem to be building though
I think the fact we can make 5 subs means Klopp will manage minutes and the full backs do the most running. Plus we have great back up now.
I reckon he will start the derby and we might see Tsmikas in vs Napoli.Modifying post.

How can he be knackered already though, we've played 4 gamesOriginally posted by wiw View PostA combo of managing his minutes/he's knackered I think. His fitness does seem to be building though
He's been ****e thats why he's getting subbed. Absolutely ****s himself in front of goal and has lost the ability to cross a ball."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Knackered. Was easily missed during the 9-0 against Bournemouth, but he looked terrible during the game. Looked ill. TAA has also looked spaced out during games. In fact, the only one of the current back four that looks energised is Gomez.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostKeeps getting subbed. He's been ran into the ground over the course of the last 5 seasons.
Given the teams collective workload over that period it's no real surprise that a good number of our players have dipped below their usual high standards almost simultaneously.

I don't think we've dipped below our high standards as such, just in a bit transition across the front line with Mane going, Nunez coming in, Robbo & Diaz & Elliot and Mo getting to know each others patterns. We are also decimated by injuries in the midfield and a midfield that has been a bit neglected. The midfield is not protecting the defence and the fullbacks are getting caught up the pitch on the counter and without Thiago that are not moving the ball quick enough to any of the attackers, so moves are either too slow and opposition get their setup right or the move breaks down. It goes both ways when the midfield isn't functioning the way it should. Certainly not denying some players, including Robbo have been off form but that happens.Last edited by danperkins; 01-09-22, 01:23 PM.
