Saturday 12th August 1230 KO UK Time I think. (930pm Aus time)

So all eyes on Klopp & the medical staff to see who's available & who's impressed the boss in Pre season.

I think Mig will get the nod to start & Karius on the bench.

Clyne won't be ready for this & I expect TAA to get the nod over Flanno, Gomez & Milner

Matip & Lovren don't have much competition so Klavan on the bench to cover.

I expect Moreno has done more than enough to force his way into a starters spot at LB & the only real competition has come from the new boy Robertson. Milner hasn't looked ready for a starters spot based on his last 2 outings & cant be picked on reputation

If Coutinho is fit he'll be joined in midfield by Henderson & Can imo. Gini & Grujic & Milner will compete for spots on the bench.

The front 3 when fit will pick themselves currently. Mane, Firmino & Salah are class & id expect Solanke to be on the bench but Origi may be there too.

Looking forward to the start of the season, I was hoping for a couple more signings to slot into the starting 11 but the reality is that anyone we sign between now and then won't start at Watford.

GK: I assume that Mignolet will start in goal, not sure who will be on the bench, I was impressed with Ward but Karius is more senior and truth is there is little to choose between them
Defence: Matip and Lovren start at CB if fit as there is no other option, for similar reasons Klavan will be on the bench as Sakho is out in the cold. Fullbacks anything could happen, I assume TAA will start at right back, LB not sure if it will be Moreno or Robertson based on preseason form, Milner could also be in there based on last season. I assume Milner will be on the bench as the utility man if he doesn't start.
Midfield: Coutinho and Henderson will start if fit the question is who joins them in there? Can or Wijnaldum I guess it depends on whether we want a more attacking or defensive balance, I would assume the other plus Grujic will be on the bench
Attack: picks itself: Salah, Mane and Firmino I would put Solanke and Sturridge (if fit) on the bench.
