He wasn't very good against Watford but hasn't done much wrong since, so to drop him now is weird. It's not even like he's been in rotation with Karius for the CL games, he's played every game

Must be a falling out. When Karius played before when Mignolet was dropped on form he went to the bench. He's out of the squad this time.

Same as last year. Mignolet started the season fine, then Karius came in and was nervous for most games until he couldn't cope with the pressure and got dropped. I think he ultimately thinks Karius is his preferred choice and thinks it's now or never for him. But it's weird, especially that we've made a solid start and need consistency to kick on.
