I agree to a point. I think last night our attacks were more fluid without Mo. For the last 18 months he seems to keep the ball a lot, and the attacks break down with him as he try fancy flicks or chooses the wrong pass. Imo the front 3 are nowhere as fluid in attack as previously from open play. All 3 regularly choose the wrong pass. But even if he gives the ball away he is still our most potent weapon. He can and does score goals from everywhere. Nice now to have 4 players on a similar level. Its not a case of dropping one for another, they'll all be needed.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

In reality, we have 4 really good forwards. All should be in our first team. That is how good they all are. That is a brilliant position to be in. I didn't think we would be able to add a brilliant attacking player without selling one of either Salah or Mane. That is how much i thought that it would take. I thought that it would take a huge investment to make this team better. I also thought that we missed the boat when Werner went to Chelsea. He seemed to be the right age, price etc. Jota has surprised us all in a huge way. The signing in the first place came out of nowhere and he has really hit the ground running. Exactly the same way Salah started with the team. Straight into brilliant performances.
But Salah is still #1 for me.

It's interesting that our forwards are all brilliant, but you easily improve them if you had a magic wand. Sadio and Bobby could be more clinical with chances, Mo could hold the ball up better rather than just giving it away or being muscled out, develop a right foot etc. It's a good job for the rest of the league they aren't better...

totally agree! Last year we had the front 3 and if anyone else played up top, it meant that either someone was injured or that it was a cup game..
I also thought that it would cost a fortune to get someone good enough to rotate the top 3 without a serious drop off in quality... and the other problem was that anyone that is good enough to play in our front 3 would want a guaranteed starting spot. Jota seems to be happy to fight for his place.
Also he’s at a perfect age- will be coming into his prime years, as our front 3 enter the Milner years... what a ****in awesome signing, once again!!
Also agree that Salah is number 1 still!I don't tip

This is a good point Bob, never really thought about it that much, but you're right he does. His speed and engine means he covers a lot of ground for 90 mins, never lets up. Bobby is similar, but without the speed.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostYeah Mane looks tired well his finishing does, I just think he is the one that sets the tone of the team by pressing. He's missed massively when not in the team. Didn't he miss the Villa game?
Must be a nightmare to face non-stop for 90 mins if you're a defender

The machine does it again.
11 goals in 12 PL games. 3 assists too.
More goals after 12 PL games this season than he had after 12 games in his 32 league goal season
