With calmer, more reliable service, I'm sure Darwin will start banging them in... like he did second season at Benfica.

The challenge we have with the lack of a 6 is that the rest of the team is unbalanced, players start to panic before they normally would, and chances are snatched at rather than calmly executed...

We'll get there... it's just all on a ****ing mad one at the moment because we didn't have a plan for replacing Fabinho and Hendo... and Schmadtke isn't anywhere near a competent Michael Edwards.

IMO he is not a starter and having a 70m or 80m quid player that is not a guaranteed starter is not ok for a club like LFC. IMO he'll get the season to prove himself & if he doesn't he will be sold. FWIW I hope he can hone his game and smash it but I'm just not so sure.

It was a **** pass to Nunez in fairness but you would expect any pro footballer to control that. Since joining us, lack of composure in front of goal is a big criticism aimed at Nunez. He's always busy, he's always moving but you need to be able to put the ball in the net ore often than not. Diaz/Gakpo/Mo is our strongest starting line up imo & Jota and Nunez rotating in and out of games..

well you might, but most that have actually played would realise that ball was not easy to control at all. A) it was leathered at him and B) it was up at his neck.

Even Dennis Bergkamp would've had his work cut out for him taking that ball down cleanly. Bare in mind there was a defender rapidly approaching, so its basically one touch to cushion and then volley it, otherwise youre getting closed down.
