Surely he’s got his top off more than 5 times?!?

Twice against Southampton and I reckon at least 3 vs united…

Actually it would be greater than or equal to 5

Might only be 4 against those two though, I think actually it was only 2 vs united! Very well may be 5 total times… surprising though, thought I saw his 8 pack more than that

A deal requires both sides to agree… and we don’t really have any clue what has happened over the last 18 months. Players wanting to sign now (presuming they get what they want), doesn’t mean they were willing to in August.
True the Klopp leaving and uncertainty over new manager and their roles would naturally be a concern, but they would still have been down to the last 18 months when Klopp said he was leaving, with key players you really would want to get their deals agreed before that point IMO. I don't think the players were at that point and walked away from negotiations when the found out Klopp was leaving. But even if they did there should have been some discussions ongoing about salary players would want and contract length expected on both sides so that if playing side assurances were made the deals could have been done quickly. Perhaps that is naive on my part but that is how I would want it to work.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

at least it sounds as if he'd rather stay if it can be sorted out.

[Reddy] PSA: No offer doesn’t mean no negotiations. A formal offer is only generally made when terms have been agreed. Salah wants to stay, Liverpool want to keep him, and there’s some compromising to do from both sides.

Don’t know what her contacts are like nowadays but seems to be what most people have said in here already.

However, if he got the best offer for himself from the premier league - probably from City - then we can't really begrudge him that tbh at this stage
He'll never go to another PL club, that's a hill I'm prepared to die on

My guess is that his agent is taking the absolute piss on wages and contract length, using a Saudi offer in the summer as a benchmark, and the club is trying to gradually bring it down to something affordable.

And he should stop creating public distractions before big games as a tool to earn more money because it's ****ty behaviour.

Yeah. He’s ultimately a multi millionaire, trying to turn the Liverpool supporters against the club and its owners, to secure a huge pay day, right at the worst possible time. He thinks we’re all stupid.

Personally, I’m not impressed one bit. Keep your negotiations behind closed doors, thank you very much.

Poorly judged perhaps but very calculated, and wouldnt have been made if he hadnt scored those goals. He is a great player that is heading towards the end of his career.
Liverpool know that and are famous for replacing great players with better ones. Keegan teplaced with Dalglish for example. Personally i wouls sell all three in January if we beat Man City next weekend.
Its better to spend big money on players younger than older. We are not a retirement home.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield
