Personally I'm thinking of the moment when Mac should have aimed for the far corner but instead chose to square it to Salah, who was not in a free position.

There's obviously something going on there. I hope 'pass to Salah in the box' is not a thing. I mean, for Ronaldo it kinda ended up that way

Its only strange if you dont notice he has no puff left at the end of the season every year.

Only 4 of them took place at the end of the season though -
3 UCL and 1 Fa cup.

The rest are the Community Shield and European Super cup, both at the start of the season.

Then 2 Afcons, Club World Cup, and 2 League Cup finals - all mid season.

Perhaps this is his final season, or we can use the CL as a negotiation starting point to highlight that his form and fitness will never be as good as this season.

I'd still like to see him stay for another two seasons with a good winger coming in to learn from him - someone like Adeyemi or Doak if we think he's good enough to sub often.

I think he's gone, he is desperate to stay but thee is no way Eddie and co are paying what Remi and Mo are wanting. He is so settled in AE with his family - Maybe stubborn but no way he is getting what he wants

All players have dips in form, the only concern for me is our lack of creativity/goals from elsewhere.
