I think it is an odd one, he is clearly off form, but he has a goal and an assist in his last 2 games, he has also had some big chances which admittedly he has missed due to a lack of form, but I suspect that he is getting alot of attention from the opposition because he is Mo Salah which is giving more space for other players. Also if his form picks up a bit he will start putting some of those chances away and that will be an improvement.

He is past his best, he has lost some pace but I still think he has something to offer, is he the first name on the teamsheet? No. He might have to accept a different role but I still think he has something to offer for the rest of the season.

Will he be here next season, unless his form picks up significantly I suspect the answer will probably be no. But as I say I don't think he is done yet.

Would love for him to remember how to play football again and contribute to us finishing in the Champions League places and maybe the winner in the Champions League final, if I'm being greedy, , would be a fine way for him to sign off his LFC career.

If Frimpong and Bradley were fit, I think we would see less of him. With Bradley out for the rest of the season, when fit it means Frimpong will be RB, so Salah will be first choice pick for a while, with Chiesa subbing on as required.

Much as I think he's been comfortably our poorest player this season,.I don't see that we have many/any options that don't mean a formation change
