Pep coming across as a classless, bitter prick. Winning has masked a lot of that but the mask slips whenever they don't. Love seeing the fuming Mancs this morning and knowing Harry Kane will be ****ed off as well makes it even better. The fume will reach epic levels when we land number 6 in a few weeks.

I do think De Bruyne is massively unlucky to miss out. He's probably one of the best midfielders I've seen in the Premier League era. He was absolutely nailed on for it a few months ago. But Salah has just blown him away in the end, and deserves it.

Probably a hint of bitterness from Pep as Salah effectively knocked him out, but it's understandable he'd back his star player.

I don't think De Bruyne has even been City's best player since January onwards. Silva has been much more consistent. In fact KDB has hit a bit of a wall, whereas Salah has kicked on.

Given how everyone is creaming themselves over how good City are, it does seem that the massive demerit to how all conquering they are is that we have just beaten them 3 times in three and a bit months.

They are good enough to destroy most teams and have a squad that can absorb injuries better than anyone else. They also do play good football, and have been deserved winners of the league, but their form in 2018 removes a lot of the glow.

Mo has been better than KDB over the entire season and justifiably wins the Player of the Season. KDB is a worthy second place.

spot on. KDB hasn't done much in the last few months at all & Salah has been on fire. Silva has been outstanding in 2018 for them. IMO as good as KDB this seasson.

I think that is a good point interestingly the two players who previously equalled the record won it that year (Ronaldo and Suarez) but Shearer didn’t win it the year he set the record

Goals win games and get the attention so I don't think that it is a surprise that Salah won it

Saurez or Salah? The fact that Salah isn’t in his prime like Luis plus the better attack around him hopefully means more too come. Plus it will free up the other two with all the attention on Salah so bobby and Sadio could really take advantage. All three are such team players hopefully Salah is happy to take some extra attention so the team can prosper.
