That and just being taken for granted imo. In most of the combined LFC / Arsenal invincibles and Utd teams (the ones I've seen anyway), he hardly gets a shout, he's being left out of a lot of teams of the year....he just seems to be hugely taken for granted. He's probably the most productive player in Europe outside the big two?Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI think it's the 'I'd sell him for Mbappe' crowd that ignore the massive impact he has had on us over the last 3 years. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hugely underappreciated by some sections. He's on course to win a third golden boot in a row; Shearer is the only person to have previously topped the table for three consecutive years. The legendary Rush only won the golden boot once. He also holds the record for the most goals in a 38 game season. This has been achieved playing mainly from the left and without much help from set-pieces which have inflated some of the other totals. In addition he contributes around 10 league assists and he constantly occupies 2-3 players, freeing up space for others.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThat and just being taken for granted imo. Beyond the goals and the assists he seems a popular member of the dressing room and normally plays with a smile and at times seems indefatigable. His ability to turn out and perform in nearly all games is priceless in the modern game.
He’s an indispensable member of this current, record breaking team; who if they continue as they have done for nearly two years now, could be in the argument for best club team ever. Why is it that whilst he continues to break individual club and Premiership records, some fans believe there is a better option for this team when this team could be the best there is?
I just don’t get it!

Are they not still the most productive? I've not kept tabs on either of them all season. Boring *******s.
