Mo's quick and last season he was near enough impossible to knock off the ball. Neither seems to be true this season...he's still getting ball to feet on the wings and he constantly wants to cut in on his left, that's the problem. He would twist and turn last season, every which way... but this season, his default option is stop, foot on the ball and then cut back onto his left to try and run across the 18 year box for a curler... every time he's running into a defender, rather than around him. Sadio still has quick feet and a trick or two to get the extra yard of space to get the cross in or cut it back. Nothing seems to be clicking for the front three at all at the moment. Shooting and finishing is woeful... if we'd converted a couple of chances a game... we'd be 3-5 points clear at the top.

Agreed, I think it is across the 3 of them. The one I worry about most is Bobby. He's never been prolific, we know this, but bar a few amazing performances he has been very average in comparison to previous form. Hopefully they will all click into gear soon but it has to be soon!Originally posted by Tribute View PostMo's quick and last season he was near enough impossible to knock off the ball. Ps. It's probably only as all worrying about current form that even has these type of conversations happening. I think we are still top goalscorers in the league despite the recent run!

Bobby's more notceable when he's off form as he doesn't bomb it up and down the flanks like the other two... he's been guilty of missing some 'look' chances, so maybe should revert back to the 'no-look' approach... he scored all of those...

Why not, shaqiri and origi aren’t exactly pushing for a move and they look **** as starters. Ox got an extension for been injured. There robbing a living off the club
In what is fast becoming a **** season, he’s still our highest goal scorer and has a bucket load of assists.
Who is exactly player of our season so far??

Before this run I had it between Gini, Fabinho and Robertson.Originally posted by Baracus View PostWhy not, shaqiri and origi aren’t exactly pushing for a move and they look **** as starters. Ox got an extension for been injured. There robbing a living off the club

Apart from his two goals which were decent, I thought he was ****e.
He lost the ball from challenges a number of times, and was nowhere near strong enough.
I do agree though, we'd be knackered without his goals. No one else is offering any kind of threat in that team.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

If he didn’t kick the ball other than the 2 goals he’d have had a decent game. He’s always sniffing for chances, it’s the one thing that no single other player in our squad has. An absolute desire for goals.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostApart from his two goals which were decent, I thought he was ****e.

It’s great news that he has found his shooting boots again.Modifying post.
